New LIFE perspective - Since last year, the new LIFE - perspective has come into force. The most important changes include an increase in allocations (funds intended for co-financing projects) by EUR billion compared to the previous LIFE - perspective. Currently, the program budget for - is EUR . billion, of which EUR . billion is allocated for environmental activities and EUR. billion for climate activities. LIFE - also introduces changes to the program structure. As in the previous perspective, areas were distinguished.

The level of funding that applicants can apply for is up to % of the value of eligible costs, and in the case of nature projects up to %. Nature projects should be understood as projects serving priority/endangered species and habitats. Additionally, Polish applicants may apply for co-financing of their project from national funds of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.
